My walk and literary crisis...
I've come to a crossroads in my literary life - and I don't know how to proceed. Why? Because I don't know what to write! It's tragic! There are four stories that either have notes or exist entirely in my head, but I simply can't seem to find the rest of the story. They exist in extracts of something larger, but I can't find the larger. It's not a great situation, especially if you're a writer.
Add to that the current crisis of not being able to locate anywhere to have my flickr photos on this site without having to manually link to them here, I'm not having the greatest of days.
What does make up for my current situation is the discovery and subsequent fetal attachment to MLB.tv. It's just bloody fantastic, and so much fun! I can sit here, in Australia, half way across the world from the game, and watch my Blue Jays trounce the Seattle Mariners 12-3!
Of course, a ball game isn't the same without junk food to accompany it, so that was why I walked up and back to Maccas to get myself a fillet of fish meal, no ice in the coke, six nuggets and 2 sweet mustard sauces. It was fricking expensive, but really worth it when I got home and watched my team chalk up another win. Sadly, the Yankees also nailed another win over Texas, keeping us in third place in the east.
Well, that's about it from me - be sure to check out my flickr page as I've just uploaded 3 more photos (well, I will have soon) that I took on my walk. One incredibly stylish apartment complex and one hideous Chevrolet limo!
